Develop confidence to talk about sex and relationships in a responsible but relevant way to other young people.

Intro to Youth Work
(£5 Deposit Required to Register for this course)
This is an ABC Accredited Award which would provide participants with the basic information, knowledge and skills required to undertake youth work and deliver sessions with young people.

Child Protection
An introduction to child protection issues with special reference to youth work & working in caring professions.

Introduction to Advice Skills
To develop competence in the skills required for giving rights based advice to young people. Covering key advice principles, recognising boundaries & basic negotiating skills.

This course will enable you to gain confidence in public speaking through intensive practical activity.

This basic counselling skills course will enable participants to learn how to use their newly found knowledge into practice and gain valuable experience and skills.

ractical ways of dealing with Conflict through Role-play and team exercises.

Volunteer Reading Skills Training:
This course is especially designed for individuals who would like to offer Reading Support to young children in primary schools. After completion of the course you will be offered a placement in a primary school.

Food Safety in Catering (Level 2 Award)
Covers all aspects of how to ensure that food is prepared in a safe and clean environment. Also looks at healthy eating and good dieting guidelines.
Three evenings

Weds 21st, 28th Oct & 4th Nov
Save a Life Course (British Red Cross)
This basic first aid qualification will enable participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to take charge of an incident and/or accident requiring first aid.
